terms of service

Some points might be confusing due to English not being my first language, any questions can be resolved with the contact methods pointed in my carrd, either via dm or email.

By commissioning me, you as the client declare that you have read, understand and accept my terms of service mentioned below and are willing to comply with them, under no circumstances my terms of service may be overridden except for prior agreements to the contrary.

  1. Payment is upfront.

  2. The client can contact me in Spanish, this being my first language, and English.

  3. I reserve the right to reject any commission for my own personal reasons.

  4. The client may explain what they want to see in the results (in order to get an artwork which they enjoy).

  5. The time it takes to finish a piece depends on how expensive the commission is, (least expensive = less / most expensive = more time).  This due to the complexity of expensive artworks.

  6. Colors of the character may change in the final product, such as reducing or increasing the saturation, changing the color hue or changing the overall color palette. This depending on the shading or lighting.

payment and procedure

  1. Payment is done via PayPal

  2. Once the client has contacted me either via email or discord, a description of the desired drawing and the final price will be discused, the description may include graphic descriptions or reference images (for complex backgrounds, reference images are appreciated).

  3. Once the corresponding price has been paid I will start working depending on the order of arrival.

  4. During the process, updates will be shown in the form of screenshots, one mandatory at the sketch stage and several more depending on the piece and those requested by the client.

  5. A screenshot of the sketch will be shown to the client to know their opinion about the piece, if they like it the process will continue normally, if they do not like it the client can request the changes they want until the piece is to their liking.

  6. I could ask for more details during the process, in cases where the reference is not clear, details are missing or general doubts.

  7. Deadlines can be discussed before the artwork is paid and can be rejected.

  8. As the artist, I will do my best to finish the commissioned work in a timely manner, please take into account that drawing is not my only job and sometimes I will not have time to respond to messages or finish commissions in less time. The client will be notified of problems that make it impossible for me to complete the drawing for a period of time, depending on the period of time or severity, a refund may be discussed.

copyright and usage

  1. I'm still the author of the artwork, the client cannot claim the art as theirs.

  2. The art is for personal use only, ( prints, reuploads, profile pictures, etc ) the client is not allowed to create profits out of the commissioned art in any shape of form.

  3. The client may repost the commissioned artwork in any social media with proper credits.

  4. The client cannot trace or recolor the art in order to claim the artwork as theirs.

  5. The client cannot remove my signature / watermark in order to claim the artwork as theirs.

Terms of service will be updated over time.
